The Public Transport Agency at Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) launched a marketing and promotional campaign under the theme ‘Your Seats Make you Win Prizes’, which aims at encouraging the various groups and classes of the public on utilising Dubai bus to transport through the cities of Dubai and other emirates.


The campaign will continue until the end of next December.

Mohammed Al Ali, Director of Buses at the RTA’s Public Transport Agency pointed out that the Authority continuously seeks to introduce and implement the best and most distinctive campaigns which contribute in strengthening its strategic missions mainly: encouraging the customers to use public transport in Dubai, especially buses, as it provides a variety of services (intercity transportation) to the emirates of the country.

“The buses are equipped with comfortable seats that ensure tranquility, convenience, comfort and safety during their movement, as well as our commitment to safeguard the environment of Dubai from pollution that is caused by vehicle fuel.”

Al Ali added: During the course of the campaign which will last until the end of next December, weekly and monthly withdrawals were done on the cards that have been purchased by Dubai bus passengers, the draw included 10 Movie Tickets for VIPs, 5 Nol Cards, one Galaxy S4 mobile, as well as a monthly draw for an airline business class travel ticket to a specific destination, stressing that the passengers who made Dubai Bus their ultimate means of intercity travel deserve the awards, expressing his hope in the success of this campaign by attracting the largest possible customers in order to achieve the vision and goals set for it.

He pointed out that bus passengers can select a Dubai bus at the main bus stations in Deira and Bur Dubai areas which operates from 5am till midnight and commute to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain, Masafi, Hatta and Al Awir. More info
