The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has dedicated to its employees the ‘Flashes of Thought’ authored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in a gesture reflecting RTA’s keenness to keep employees apprised of the vision and drive of our prudent leadership to up the public services on offer to customers.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that completion rate in Rashid Hospital Tunnels has topped 82 per cent in the Project which comprises the construction of roads & two 2-lane tunnels serving the traffic inbound from Tariq bin Ziyad & Umm Harir Streets and heading towards the intersection of Al Al Riyadh Street with the extension of the Floating Bridge.
Seventeen residents affected by loud noise and damaged homes due to trains at Dubai Metro's Rashidiya depot have received Dh250,000 in compensation - a total payout of Dh4.25 million. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently awarded a contract for designing and constructing 13 pedestrian overpasses, costing Dh45 million, in Dubai. The project is supposed to be completed within eight months. Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the RTA Mattar Al Tayer announced that once it is completed, the number of pedestrian overpasses in the emirate will rise from 74 to 87, including the 34 footbridges of the metro stations.
