Dubai Tram ready to hit tracks in November

Work on phase one of the Dubai Tram project is nearing completion with 11 trams ready to roll out in November. The trams have arrived in Dubai and technical and operational tests are being conducted on a daily basis.

Pedestrian bridge to be built across Dubai Creek

Creek Panorama, a pedestrian bridge project that will enable people to cross Dubai Creek on foot from Bur Dubai to Shindagha, has been approved by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Shaikh Mohammad approved the project during a visit to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) headquarters that saw him review a number of key projects.
