DUBAI METRO 2024

Rail Agency at Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has issued 391 offence tickets to metro users during 50 days of train operation, starting from the launch of service on 090909 till the end of October this year across 10 stations on the Red Line.

Al Tayer: Completion of electromechanical works hits 80-97%

DUBAI // Important people are not the only ones criss-crossing the city on the Dubai Metro. Important parcels are making the journey as well.

DIFC, Mall of the Emirates and Nakheel Harbour and Tower station's were closed in morning.

H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), revealed that all construction works on the 19 stations on the Red Line of Dubai Metro have been completed, and that electromechanical works in the said stations range from 80 to 97%, adding that RTA is all set to phase out the opening of the stations in February 2010.

Dubai metro: Dubai’s public transport addition is apparently a stunner. Not only is the Metro clean, cheap, fast and efficient, it will also be an exciting experience for little ones.

While years behind Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha are at last taking public transport schemes seriously.
