Tabreed bonds show investors bet on support
Islamic bonds of National Central Cooling Company, known as Tabreed, rose on speculation the provider of air conditioning services to the Dubai Metro may follow Aldar Properties PJSC in getting financial support from Abu Dhabi. Tabreed’s floating-rate $200 million sukuk maturing in July rose 13 cents on the dollar in the past month to 88 cents on Tuesday, according to Exotix Ltd, an investment bank specialising
in illiquid bonds.
No Sharjah-GV buses; changes to Metro feeder bus routes

RTA employee is three times a hero
A young Emirati man has been thanked by police for the third time for his good deeds. In his latest act of goodwill, the young man handed over a wallet containing Dh3,000 to Dubai Police. Mahmoud Moussa Ali, who works as a fine collector at the Roads & Transport Authority, found the wallet in Al Rifa’a area and handed it in at the neighbourhood’s police station. The wallet also included credit cards, an ID card and driving license.

The Dubai Metro is a driverless, fully automated metro network in the United Arab Emirates city of Dubai. The Red Line is almost fully operational, the Green Line is under construction with trials commenced in October 2010, and 3 further lines are planned, with some doubt expressed on their feasibility following the financial downturn experienced by Dubai after September 2008.

Licensing Agency offers 500 plates in the 3rd online auction
The Licensing Agency, Roads & Transport Authority is intending to hold the 3rd online auction of distinguished number plates starting January 21 and lasting for a week and the event will see the initial offering of the number plate category (K) in addition to the two categories (G) and (J).
RTA to hold third online licence plate auction
The Licensing Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai will launch its third online auction of distinguished number plates for vehicles from January 21. Around 500 distinguished number plates with ‘G' and ‘J' codes will be offered in the online auction, which will continue for a week.
Motorists urged to drive safely
Motorists and road users are being asked to exercise extreme care and caution when driving during rainy periods and low visibility, to avoid traffic accidents which are likely to double under the current weather conditions.
