DUBAI METRO 2024

The cellist Julian Lloyd Webber once described piped music as “an insidious cancer that has spread throughout society”. It’s almost impossible to get away from it in shops, hotels, airports and everywhere that there are large numbers of people coming and going. For many, it’s the single most irritating thing about modern life.

The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication Department at Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Peyman Younes Parham stated that the Department is making keen efforts to boost the communication links and open up joint communication channels to benefit from the mutual expertise of various organizations across the UAE.

More than 1,500 employees and officials of the civic body will switch to public transport next Wednesday to spread awareness about air pollution, Director General of Dubai Municipality Hussain Nasser Lootah announced at a press conference 
on Tuesday.

Global banks are now open for business at The Galleries at Downtown Jebel Ali, while the first cafes, restaurants and convenience stores are getting ready to move in to the mixed-use community development by Limitless. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, close to the Jebel Ali Free Zone, The Galleries is within easy reach of the rest of Dubai and the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi. It will also be served by the Dubai Metro when the RTA opens its remaining Red Line stations.

Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) stressed the role of its existing partnership with the private sector in the field of customer service in bolstering the expansion, improvement and further development of services it provides to all clientele. Dr. Aysha Al Busmait, Director of Customer Services Centers Department at RTA Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, stated that this partnership was supportive of RTA's efforts intended to translate into reality its strategic goals in keeping with Dubai Government's vision.

Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla, CEO Marine Agency and Chairman of RTA Customers Council, in a Press release on Monday said, ‘‘All advanced facilities, utilities and technologies, including parking, public buses, Metro, marine transport modes and taxicabs, are all aimed at easing the life of this category of customers.”
