RTA operates Burj Dubai Metro Station on Monday, deploys 11 Feeder buses
H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), announced that RTA will officially operate Burj Dubai metro station on Monday 04 January 2010 to mark the fourth anniversary of the Accession Day of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as Ruler of Dubai Emirate.
RTA issues 957 offences to metro users
Rail Agency at Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has issued 957 offence tickets to metro users from the start of passenger service on 090909 up to mid of December of the same year across the ten stations on the Red Line.
Dubai still most popular despite 2009 property woes
More than 43 percent of respondents to the FutureBrand Gulf Real Estate Study, released on Tuesday, said Dubai was their number one choice in the region despite house prices slumping by up to 50 percent in some parts of the city during 2009. He said mega projects like the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Metro becoming a reality added to the city’s appeal to would-be home buyers.

RTA expands commercial transportation services in Dubai
The Licensing Agency at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has revealed its 2010 plans aimed at intensifying and augmenting the scope and reach of its commercial transport activity services to cover all areas of Dubai through targeting commercial companies.
