H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), announced that RTA will officially operate Burj Dubai metro station on Monday 04 January 2010 to mark the fourth anniversary of the Accession Day of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as Ruler of Dubai Emirate.

RTA issues 957 offences to metro users

Rail Agency at Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has issued 957 offence tickets to metro users from the start of passenger service on 090909 up to mid of December of the same year across the ten stations on the Red Line.
